  • What makes Land of Dough sustainable?

    • Land of Dough is the most eco-friendly dough on the planet. From our natural colors and compostable glitters to our paper packaging, we strive to minimize the environmental impact of our product. Our manufacturing process is designed to leave as small a carbon footprint as possible. Land of Dough is made in the USA right here in our own wind-powered facility using reclaimed landfill gas as a heat source. Each batch is carefully handcrafted with the finest natural ingredients and our signature wood play tools are sourced using sustainable forestry practices.

  • What are the ingredients in Land of Dough play dough?
    • Though our full list of ingredients is proprietary, having been developed over thousands of hours of experimentation, we are happy to share our commitment to using natural, non-synthetic materials in making our products. An abbreviated list of ingredients includes: All-natural dough and colors, coconut oil, compostable glitters, and calming essential oils. Land of Dough products made prior to March 2022 included almond oil. These products could remain on shelves in all locations sold. 


  • Does Land of Dough have a scent?

    • We’ve created a signature scent from a blend of organic chamomile, lemongrass, and lavender essential oils to add a wonderful calming dimension to the play experience.

  • What is the play time of Land of Dough products?

    • Unopened, Land of Dough products will last over a year. Once opened, you can enjoy more than 2 hours of active play time before you’ll want to rehydrate your dough. To rehydrate, simply wrap dough in a damp paper towel and place it in its container overnight. When not in use, dough can be stored in its container with the lid on in a cool place.

  • What happens once you combine all the colors inside a cup?

    • Our dough cups feature unique artistic designs using multiple colors that are thoughtfully chosen with the end color in mind. Once the dough has been played with, the colors will combine into one vibrant hue that shimmers with glitter throughout.

  • Can you preserve a Land of Dough creation?

    • Yes! If there’s a special creation you’d like to save, just let the dough harden in open air. Thinner creations should dry overnight; thicker creations may take a little longer.

  • Is Land of Dough gluten-free?

  • Land of Dough contains wheat. A recent study from the National Children’s Hospital found no significant gluten transfer after children used dough items for play. A link to the study.

    DOMESTIC SHIPPING

    • How long will it take for my dough order to ship?

      • Due to the handmade nature of our product, please allow 4 - 7 business days for your orders to ship.

      • We do not ship on weekends so orders placed on Friday will ship the following week.

    • Does Land of dough ship outside the contiguous U.S. to APO/FPO or to PO boxes?

      • Yes! Orders shipped to APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and PO boxes cannot be expedited and will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

    • How do I track my order?

      • Once your package leaves our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation email featuring a tracking number. A quick click on that number will provide the most up-to-date information on your package’s whereabouts.

    • Can I make changes to my shipping address after I place my order?

      • Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to an order after it is placed.  Please email customercare@crazyaarons.com and we can cancel your order and place a new one.

    • When will I be charged for my order?

      • Payment is processed immediately upon placing your order, prior to the product shipment.

    • How do I know if my order has shipped?

      • You will receive a shipping confirmation via email once your order has been shipped.

     

    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

    • Does Land of Dough ship internationally?

      • Land of Dough ships worldwide! We offer international shipping to every country allowed by US law. Expedited International Shipping (typically 2-3 day shipping barring any customs delays) is available by request.

      • International customers are responsible for paying taxes, fees, duties, or VAT charges at the time of delivery by their local courier.

    • How long will it take for my international dough order to ship?

      • Due to the handmade nature of our product, please allow 20-30 business days for your orders to ship.

    • How much does it cost to ship outside the U.S.?

      • We charge a base rate of $25 for all international shipments, plus an additional $3 per item in your order. 

    • Should I expect to pay duties and taxes on my order?

      • International customers are responsible for paying taxes, fees, duties, or VAT charges at the time of delivery by their local courier.

    • Can I make changes to my address after I place an international order?

      • Once a package leaves our facility, we are unable to adjust the ship-to address.

    • How can I track an international order?

      • Once your package leaves our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation email featuring a tracking number. If you’re experiencing difficulty tracking your order once your package has departed the United States, we encourage you to contact the destination’s postal service for more detailed information about the package’s whereabouts.

     

    RETURNS & EXCHANGES

    • What is your return policy?

      • We think you'll love Land of Dough. In fact, we're pretty sure once you get it into your hands, you'll never want to let go! However, if you find that it's not for you, we offer a no-questions-asked, 100% money-back guarantee on unused Land of Dough purchases within 30 days of delivery. We just ask that you pay the return shipping.

      • PLEASE NOTE: Your dough will dry out, due to its natural properties it is not intended to last forever. If your dough has been opened and played with we cannot accept returns for any reason, including drying out.

    •  Do you have an exchange policy?

      • Land of Dough provides hassle-free exchanges for unused products. Please email customercare@crazyaarons.com for more information on processing your exchange. Please note, you will be required to cover return shipping costs.

    •  What if my order is damaged or defective?

      • All packages should be checked and damages reported within 72 hours or delivery. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please email us at customercare@crazyaarons.com we will help you exchange or return the item.


    ORDERS & PAYMENTS

    • What payment methods do you accept?

      • Land of Dough accepts payments by all major credit cards and Apple Pay via our online checkout. Credit cards include: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express.

    • Can I change an order after it’s been placed?

      • Orders cannot be changed after they’ve been confirmed for shipment. If you’ve placed an order and haven’t yet received your shipping notification, you can contact our Customer Service team who may be able to assist in cancelling the order before it’s shipped. Customers typically have 24 hours to make these adjustments.

    • Can I request an item be gift wrapped?

      • Gift wrapping is not available for Land of Dough at this time.

    • Will I be charged sales tax?

      • Only residents of Pennsylvania and Washington will be charged sales tax on purchases made at www.landofdough.com .
